PRP

PRP

PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is an extraordinary approach in regenerative and cosmetic
world. In simple term PRP is formed by removing platelets from one’s own blood and
apply it topically or by injection in desired areas such as scalp for hair growth or face for
wrinkle improvement, facial skin improvement, and reverse aging.

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma is a plasma with 5-10 times more platelet concentration than usual
blood. The platelets contain several growth factors including platelet-derived growth
factor, epidermal growth factor (EGF), fibroblast growth factor, and connective tissue
growth factor. This “Liquid Gold” can then reintroduced to the body for so many benefits.

How does PRP work?

A few ml of blood is drawn from the body and is then placed in a centrifuge to spin.
Within a few minutes, the platelet-rich plasma is separated from the blood. Then, the
PRP is applied or injected in desired areas including face, neck, décolletage, jawline,
chest or hand. Targeted delivery of these growth factors to desired tissues can
accelerate and promote cellular growth and regeneration of targeted tissues.

What to Expect before and during the procedure?

Before the procedure, your practitioner marks the injection sites and may administer a topical numbing agent to ease any pain or discomfort. Then your practitioner uses micro needle to inject Kybella in the area previously marked. The entire sessions last about 15 minutes.
